DESCRIPTION: Birge & Fuller, Bristol, Conn., (sold by J. J. Beals, Boston) steeple on frame shelf clock with a wagon spring driven 30 hour time and strike movement in a mahogany veneered case.
CONDITION: The case retains some original finish. There is very minor veneer loss/repair. The original painted dial, labelled "J. J. Beals, Boston" shows paint loss at the winding holes. The hands are old, but mismatched and not original to this clock. The strike side wagon spring chain is missing. The upper door glasses are both original. with the lower glass design mostly intact but with some loss to the white border. The lower door glass is original with a beautuful colored design inside a green border and is in excellent condition. The case has an interior Birge and Fuller label with an overpasted label of retailer J. J. Beals in Boston.
